FAQ

How often should I exercise each week to maintain a healthy lifestyle?

It is recommended that at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity aerobic exercise per week for adults. Additionally, adults should aim to do muscle-strengthening activities at least two days per week.

Is it better to do cardio or strength training for weight loss?

Both cardio and strength training can be effective for weight loss, but a combination of both is often recommended. Cardio exercises like running, cycling, or swimming burn calories and fat, while strength training builds muscle mass and increases metabolism, leading to more calories burned at rest.

Should I stretch before or after my workout?

It is generally recommended to do a dynamic warm-up before your workout and static stretching after your workout. Dynamic stretching involves moving your body through various movements to warm up your muscles, while static stretching involves holding a stretch for a period of time to improve flexibility.

What should I eat before and after my workout for optimal results?

It is important to eat a balanced meal with a mix of carbohydrates and protein before your workout to provide energy, and after your workout to help repair and rebuild muscles. Good pre-workout meal options include a banana with nut butter, oatmeal with fruit and yogurt, or a smoothie. Post-workout meal options include grilled chicken with vegetables, a quinoa and vegetable stir-fry, or a protein shake.

How long will it take to see results from my workout program?

The time it takes to see results from your workout program can vary based on your individual fitness level, goals, and consistency with your workout routine. Generally, you may start to notice physical changes in your body after 4-6 weeks of regular exercise.

GO BEYOND

“If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them.”
